Life
After High School one year in the Swedish Military. Returned to University of Florida for 3 Years of Studies. Joined The Sigma Chi Fraternity. Went to Medical School in Sweden 1986-1992. Finished Internship in Trelleborg 1994. Certified Cardiologist 2000. Certified Invasive Cardiologist 2001. Permanet position on staff at the Department of Cardiology, Lund University Hospital, Lund, SWEDEN 2001-present.
Married to Cecilia Ahlqvist. We have 3 children Axel (1995), Jacob (1998), Emma (2001).

Workplace
I work as an invasive cardiologist at Lund university Hospital, Sweden. I concentrate mainly on doing coronary angioplasty´s most of the time and in particular in the setting of myocardial infarction. Re´cently started percutaneous aortic valve implantations.
By now I have a permanent postion on the senior staff in the cardiology department.
I research in fundemental coronary blood vessel physiology regarding purinergic signalling and hypothermia. I received my PhD in 2007.
